WP7 defines technology and methodology for component evaluation

Technologies to be evaluated intrinsically and extrinsically, as well as the methodology for each component evaluation, are defined by WP7
In accordance with D7.1 PANACEA will:

  • Validate the platform with respect to three sets of cirteria: technical, functional and quality.

    • Evaluate intrinsically:
  • Monolingual corpus crawlers
  • Lexical acquisition components

    • Evaluate extrinsically (in MT):
  • Parallel corpus crawlers
  • Aligners
  • Bilingual dictionaries/Transfer grammars
